Extended battery life

We’ve improved how Glance conserves power while you aren’t asking it a question. It now rests between requests, stays connected to Wi-Fi, and wakes when you press a button.

In our testing, Glance stayed connected and was ready for the next question just as quickly as before. We’re still measuring what this means for the time between charges.

Glance also turns itself off after ten minutes without use. It gives a spoken warning first; press any button during the warning to keep it on. These changes arrive through its usual Wi-Fi software updates.
