We’ve been working to shorten the pause between asking Glance a question and hearing its answer. Recent improvements help it get ready to describe what’s in front of you more quickly.

We tested where Glance was spending time and improved the steps that were slowing it down. We also reduced the amount of data needed to send an answer back to your device.

We’re continuing to test the full experience, from pressing a button to hearing a description. Your connection can affect the wait, so we’re checking how these changes work in everyday use.
