Glance passes its latest durability tests
A device you wear every day has to survive being dropped, knocked and shaken. In October, our previous case didn’t: it broke in a drop test, and its lid shook loose in a vibration test.
So we rebuilt it. The new case has thicker walls, a lid that clips in at more points so it sits tighter, and a single strong bar magnet that snaps ExploraVist onto its mount.
In December it went through the same tests and passed both. It came through the vibration test unaffected, and through the drop test in one piece, with only cosmetic scratches.
The redesign also gives you more ways to wear ExploraVist: a mount for the arm of your glasses, and a lanyard mount you can take off when you don’t need it.
